"Personal" Space: I love decorating with elements that tell my family's story. Photos, mementos, artwork...I always make room for these and put them front and center. The oversized gallery wall in our eat-in kitchen captures a bunch of my favorite, candid moments.
Metallics are my love language: I love mixing neutrals with a pop of metallic. Things like Mercury glass, brass and hints of copper -- like these antique canisters in my kitchen -- make a statement that's bold, polished and goes with everything.
Vintage-Modern Mix: My absolute favorite thing is mixing old and new. I'm drawn to vintage decor with a story. This antique bench in my foyer, rescued from an old school house, pairs great with seasonal pillows and the streamlined wainscoting.
Modern Farmhouse: We built our house on our 200-year-old family farm. So we're sort of rewriting the standard definition of a "farmhouse." But there's one thing I'd never change and that's the amazing farm scenery. In every room of our house, I looked for ways to frame the farm views outside our windows. The master bathroom is a favorite. The clawfoot tub overlooks the pastures and is the perfect spot to relax!
