I had always wanted an antique dough bowl for my kitchen. I scoured my local antique stores and flea markets for years, but never found “the one.” Fast forward to a few years ago when a wonderful friend found one for me…it was love at first sight and I’ve never looked back!
My antique dough bowl has a permanent place of honor on our dining table and I style that thing for all four seasons and then some! I’m constantly on the lookout for fun filler things to display in it. It never fails to spark conversation and I think people are just naturally drawn to its worn finish and unique shape.
In addition to local antique stores and flea markets, Etsy and eBay are great resources for finding true vintage dough bowls. The selection (and price points!) are varied, so it’s helpful to have an idea of the size of bowl you need for your table before you begin your search.
If you’re ready to purchase a dough bowl now and love that vintage-inspired look, I rounded up a few of my favorite ready-to-shop options. Take a look below and let me know which one you’d love to have gracing your table or counter top!
